  • Job Description

    The Part-Time Written Directives Coordinator position will be responsible for assisting with structuring, formatting, editing, and publishing the written directives of the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.  Applicants for the position will be expected to possess strong grammatical and word processing skills.  Potential applicants should be able to work effectively in both group and independent settings.  Applicants should have a desire to learn, possess strong multi-tasking skills, and be willing to work within a detail oriented setting.  As needed, the position will assist with administrative or compliance related duties of the office.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • Written communication skills;
    • Resume content;
    • Organization and interpersonal skills;
    • Experience in and/or with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office;
    • Letter(s) of recommendation from current employer/college instructor;
    • Experience with Microsoft Windows based computer systems, and
    • Required: Experience with Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat.
    • Preferred: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
